Dolly James has had a varied career as a singer, working with Andy Sheppard, performing on Jools Holland’s show, undertaking a world tour with Simply Red and winning second place in the Yamaha International Musicians at the Marquee in London. Her band have also performed at Womad and undertaken a residency at Ronnie Scotts. Now we’re pleased to see her at Rush Hour jazz performing her favourite tunes from the jazz standards repertoire with a quintet featuring Eliot Richards on sax, Will Powell guitar, Steve Crocker bass and Steve Mullarky on drums
