Led by pianist and educator Dave Evans, the Chapel FM Jazz Collective are the first of our two Christmas Big Band specials – on Friday (Dec 13th 8pm) at the Bar on Park Lane in Roundhay. Originally formed as the Garforth Jazz Rock Orchestra they are now based at the East Leeds Radio Station and arts venue, Chapel FM.
ChapelFM Jazz Collective has built a reputation as a vibrant and dynamic big band that plays a fantastically diverse range of music to please both the head and the heart. Expect great vocals, exciting grooves and great jazz solos as you listen to a range of jazz, funk, neo-soul, afro-beat and original tunes.
