Jazz Leeds is a not for profit organisation, a registered charity (address: c/o Jazz Leeds 11 Gledhow Park Drive, Leeds, LS7 4JT Charity Number 1178875) run by volunteers to support the development of jazz in Leeds.
We were formerly known as Seven Jazz based in Chapel Allerton in North Leeds. We changed our name to Jazz Leeds to reflect the festivals and music we are now promoting throughout the city.
Our programme usually includes
Jazz Leeds charity has a board of trustees and an advisory group of supporters who help with running the events. These are Steve Crocker, Phil Green, Rosemary Holmes, Trevor Prinn, Sarah Henderson, Steve Ross, Oliver Bolton, Ben Gilbert, and Jami Sheriff. We are always looking for help – just come to one of our gigs and offer!

JAZZ VOICES CHOIR
No jazz voices choir at present but watch this space for special events in 2022
Workshops will start again in February 2022 and run fortnightly at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm (Barn Sugar Well Rd, Leeds LS7 2QG), 7-9pm. Cost per session: £10/8. All instruments and standards welcome – all you need is a wish to learn how to improvise and play jazz tunes. There is a piano available and a drum kit, otherwise please bring your instruments.
