Jazz Leeds have two main venues in Chapel Allerton – Seven Arts, an 90 seat venue on Harrogate Road and Inkwell on Potternewton Lane, which holds up to 60 people. Our events are all seated and are designed for a listening audience. We also organise the Village Jazz Festival, part of the annual Chapel Allerton Arts Festival in August/September and the city centre JazzLeeds festival each July.
We have three programming “seasons”- Autumn (Sept-Dec), Spring (Jan- Easter) and Summer (Easter – July). We start back again at the end of August by organising the Village Jazz Festival events including the popular Jazz Sunday in Regent Street.
Our evening concerts (usually Thursdays) are for national and international names. Our Sunday afternoon events are mainly for local or regional bands. If we cannot help, then there are many other venues in the North of England many of which are listed on the Norvolnetwork jazz website http://www.norvoljazz.org
Steve Crocker programmes our regular jazz programme. If you are interested in performing at our venue please fill in the form below and we will get back to you.
We have seven evening concerts at Seven Arts this Spring so why not buy a bargain season ticket -see all of them and support JAZZ LEEDS! £80 full price/£65 concessions, 25’s and under half price.
