Young jazz trumpet player Toby Brazier with the JazzLeeds trio.
Rush Hour Jazz, on the first Wednesday evening of every month at Seven Arts, 6-7.15pm – free to everyone, pay as you feel (payf) collection. All money donated goes to that evening’s performers.
Each month we feature a soloist, typically playing, or singing, the jazz standard repertoire with our own JazzLeeds house band.

Wednesday 7 December is the return of popular tenor sax player Dan Barket Bey with the JazzLeeds trio

JAZZ INSTRUMENTAL WORKSHOPS
Workshops will start again fortnightly at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm (Barn Sugar Well Rd, Leeds LS7 2QG) on Sunday mornings, 10:30am-12:30pm from Sunday 11 September . Cost per session: £10/8. All instruments and standards welcome – all you need is a wish to learn how to improvise and play jazz tunes. There is a piano available and a drum kit, otherwise please bring your instruments.
