Chapel Allerton Arts Festival 2025 jazz programme

You’ll enjoy this year’s Jazz and Blues Sunday at Chapel Allerton Arts Festival 28-31 August. We have an ecelctic mix of jazz, blues, street bands, big bands and calypso and the Jazz and Blues Sunday on 31 August is one of the highlights of the jazz calendar in the lively Leeds jazz scene

Our headline acts include trumpeter Olivia Cuttill with the launch of her stunning new album “Tunes to be Swingin” (Seven Arts Thus 28 August 7.30pm), Ozzy Moysey’s Ancient Infinity Orchestra (Seven Arts Sat 30 August 7.30pm) and Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band (led by bassist Fergus Quill headlining the  Jazz Sunday in Regent Street Sun 31 August 5pm). The Jazz Sunday in Regent Street also features some blues from John Taylor’s Blues Spectrum, street music from “Homecoming Brass”, schools big band Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra and the calypso jazz of Dudley Nesbitt and Pan Jumby. This year too there will be jazz at the Willow Tree Stage in Chapel Allerton centre on Sunday afternoon 31 August, including Cathy Ibberson and Topaz.
