Esther Bennett. Esther is one of the jazz scenes most highly respected and widely loved jazz vocalists. She juxtaposes sensitivity with a sparkly sense of humour,  her song delivery leaving audiences utterly compelled. Her debut album “Just in Time” produced by multi award winning singer Ian Shaw was released in 2004 and since then she has carved out a career performing at leading clubs and festivals throughout the UK and Europe including Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express, 606 Club & The Clarence Jazz Club, Malaga

Jon Taylor is the ultimate jazz entertainer: he plays saxophone, flute, accordion, harmonica and sings. He also tells great stories. Jon is an alumnus of the Leeds College of Music and a contemporary of Alan Barnes, Dave Newton and Snake Davis, and he has been one of the most popular figures on the northern jazz scene for over forty years. He plays an engaging range of material encompassing classic standards, funk, blues, latin and chill-out grooves. His mission statement is to keep the music interesting and stimulating and to create a little bit of joy. He will do that in spades at our last Rush Hour of the summer!
