ORB features original trio members: saxophonist, (plus various things to shake, rattle & blow!), Richard Ormrod & bassist / dog walker Paul Baxter, alongside special guests drummer John Arnesen and pianist Pete Rosser. Melodies inspired by Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman and Hermeto Pascoal, rub shoulders with original arrangements influenced by Charlie Haden & Mike Westbrook. We’ve seen ORB before – at the Cookridge Street Jazz Festival Tent and in the courtyard at Seven Arts. Catch them this time in the Seven Arts bar!
