Trish Heenan’s musical journey began in London, where she performed with various bands at some of the capital’s top venues.
She then moved to the USA, initially to New York and then on to California. Finally settling in Los Angeles, Trish recorded with Howlett Smith, producer for the legendary Nancy Wilson and continued on her musical odyssey, moving back to the UK to record her album ‘ A lot of world to see’ at The Premises Studios in London.
Mike Hall is a jazz saxophonist and educator based in Manchester. He runs his own jazz quartet and writes for and leads his octet, Boplicity. After 20 years leading Jazz Studies at RNCM, Mike now splits his time between performing all over the UK, composing, and running jazz workshops.
This rush hour jazz date in Leeds sees Trish and Mike joined by Nigel Chapman piano Steve Crocker bass and Caroline Boaden drums
