Jenny Smith is a singer rooted in jazz and popular music she effortlessly moves between various genres and stylesSince graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2006 vocalist Jenny Smith’s career has included recording her début album ‘Love Holds Strong’; radio appearances on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Leeds, York and Lincolnshire. Jenny’s versatility has enabled her to be part of a rich variety of ensembles over the years. Current projects include 1940’s vocal group ‘The Honeybirds’, the ‘Lady Luck’ jazz quintet, “The 007’s and the “Carioca Soul”. She is a choir leader at Leeds Conservatoire.
She appears at Rush Hour Jazz with the Jazzleeds house band led by Andy Cholerton on keys, John Marley bass and John Arnesen drums
