Dan Barker-Bey is a tenor saxophonist, instrumental tutor and jazz educator based in Leeds. Graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2012, he has since built a professional career that has seen him perform and educate widely in the North of England.

He cites legendary players such as John Coltrane, Michael Brecker and Bob Berg as being some of his biggest influences.

He’s accompanied by the JazzLeeds trio with Will Powell guitar Steve Crocker bass and Steve Hanley drums
