No Zak Parlby Quartet this Sunday (that concert has been rescheduled to early 2026) but instead in the bar this Sunday 4 May we have superb Leeds guitarist the Will Powell playing for you. Will has been an important part of the Leeds jazz scene and has often appeared at Seven Arts with the Tom Sharp jazz orchestra and in accompanying visiting artists at our popular rush hour jazz sessions. He’s both a superb soloist and accompanist. Steve Hanley on drums is just one of the finest and most tasteful drummers around – he’s a resident in bands like Ubunye and Anna Chandler- King’s nonet. Steve Crocker is the main programmer for JazzLeeds and has been playing double bass in various bands all his musical life
