Kevin Holbrough is collaborating with some my favourite, outstanding musicians bringing his new sextet to our Sunday Jazz series this autumn

Kevin is a versatile musician who continues to be a busy freelance commercial trombonist, jazz artist, brass teacher and principal lecturer on the BA Jazz degree at Leeds Conservatoire,  where he specialises in jazz trombone performance, big band performances and directs ensembles. A respected trombonist, freelance musician and educator, Kevin as an ever expanding discography not only in jazz but a wide range of musical genres, with over twenty seven years of high profile performing experience ranging from brass band playing, pop, latin, jazz, chamber, session work through to appearing on national television.

His sextet will be performing a programme of hard bop jazz, from the likes of the Art Blakey, JJ Johnson and Steve Davis sextets
