Alex now enjoys regularly performing and recording on saxes from soprano to bass – as well as clarinet, and bass and contrabass clarinets – in a multitude of musical styles in his home city of Leeds and around the UK.

Kasper Rietkerk is an award-winning Dutch saxophonist living in London and releasing his debut album as a bandleader. His European band of musicians features one real Loiner – drummer Jonah Evans.

JAZZ INSTRUMENTAL WORKSHOPS
Workshops will start again fortnightly at “Northlight” (the new name for Inkwell on 31 Potternewton Lane LS73LW) on Sunday mornings, 10:30am-12:30pm – Cost per session: £10/8. All instruments and standards welcome. There is a piano available and a drum kit, otherwise please bring your instruments. To join – contact tutor Dominic Moore.
